About this site
“Ming’s Daily” is a site-building wizard. It doesn’t publish articles, it publishes process — Pick a scenario and work down the steps; each one comes with instructions, a script and a checklist. Finish and the site runs. Don’t finish and you still know which step you’re stuck on.
How this site is built
- No backend, no database, no comment section. All the content lives in the JSON files under
data/. - Pages are rendered by
fetchreading the JSON in the browser. Change the copy by editing the JSON; you never touch the HTML. - Wizard progress is stored in your own browser’s
localStorage: nothing uploaded, nothing tracked, nothing synced. - The AI helper at the bottom is local keyword matching, not a live model. No answer simply means no matching keyword is configured.
Why there are no comments
It’s deliberate, not an oversight. Three reasons:
- Less to maintain: comments need moderation and spam control, and a static site shouldn’t carry that.
- One place to talk: every question lands on the feedback site, so one search shows you the pits others fell into.
- Clean pages: no third-party comment widget to load, so it opens fast.
So — discussion, complaints, bug reports, “update please” — all of it goes to Feedback。
